new ride
Well I did it! After paying my dues for nearly 11 years in a tiny sedan (AKA the Dodge dent! & for reasons that well exceed my driving responsibilty! For some reason this poor car is a magnet when parked for other cars collision) with 4 kids and 4 dogs (not that all could ride with me @once) I managed to get an SUV that we all comfortably fit in! We got a 2005 Dodge Durango, 37 k miles, moonroof, 6 cd changer, built in dvd player, leather, awesome tow package and managed to get my favorite color to boot!! Dealer calls it deep molten red but in reality it look like “black cherry”. It drives so smooth and the kids are all in heaven. The Squirt AKA “the beast” or as my husband calls her ” the feral monkey” can no longer reach anyone from her carseat and pinch or kick them. Yeah!! We are all just so ecstatic you have no idea.
ok good start. it would be way more awesome if you added pictures!!! I wonder what the “suirt” would say if she grew up and found out you all call her “Ferral monkey” pretty funny.. pics are what make it so much more fun…pics!!!!! I thought for a minute you were calling your new car “The Beast” . When I had my durango and Tom would drive ( his driving was fast and scarey) I would call it “Toads wild ride”
Hey do you remember that mom had a El camino and that only sat 3 and never took us places all together……Hmm??
Posted 1 year, 4 months agoCongratulations on the new ride. You have finally joined the rest of us, SUV driving yuppies! Now, you need to drive on down to Farmington to show it off. Just watch out for the sucking sound (the sound of money leaving your pocket because gas is frickin’ expensive!)
I like this blog idea. It’s like I get to hear about you and be closer to you. But I guess the reality is that I could get off the computer and just call you. But this is the age of technology, and writing a quick response is less of a commitment. How sad it is
I miss you and think about you and the family often.
Posted 1 year, 4 months agoEven I remember the ElCamino that your mom had…speaking of memories remember when we short sheeted your little brothers bed and how mad he got? Geez that was mean! (he he hee)
